A lot of really stupid things have been done in the name of God. The Crusades, for instance, was a completely idiotic idea. The Children's crusades were far dumber. Most jihads do not bring about the desired results.

But what I saw on TV the other night, I can safely say without hyperbole, was a million times worse than all of these events put together.

I was flipping through the channels and happened to catch a moment of 'trading spouses' or 'wifeswap' or something like that. Millions of Americans were invited into the home of a lovely family, where the daughter always wanted to become a professional dancer.

Then she got knocked up at the age of 16.

Instead of dancing herself, she opened a dancing school for children. Not a trim lady, this one, but she did know how to dance. Good for her. She's doing something with herself--no qualms there.

She is, however, deviod of any redeeming grace for this saying this:
"I guess the Lord must have had other plans for me."

Yes, exactly. The Lord wants uneducated 16 year olds to get knocked up out of wedlock. The Lord's plans for you, ma'am, rival His plans for other teenagers, like, say, Joan of Arc.

Allright, enough railing against stupid jerks for now. The Lord has other plans for me.
