It's not that Hunter's almost walking. We're at the "hold on to someone's fingers and stagger (or, perhaps more accurately, swagger) enthusiastically around the room" stage, but that's okay. I think that's fun, and we'll deal with the added safety issues.

It's not that he's taken to standing on the very tips of his tippy toes and somehow elongating himself to get to things that I could have sworn were out of his reach. I just have to be aware of what he's getting into.

The thing is that yesterday, he managed to unscrew one of the bolts attaching the padded cushion to the arm of my chair.

He's going to a 13 months old this Friday.

We are in so much trouble.
