WHAT FUN! We have a puppy!

I've always liked dogs, but my wife has never really been a fan. What inspired her change of heart, I'm not certain. Perhaps it was this little girl's face when she looks at whoever is holding her. Maybe it was her sweet disposition. Whatever it was, it was HER idea to look at this puppy, and ultimately buy it.

She's a miniature Schnauzer, very cute and SO LITTLE! So now we have a few weeks of housebreaking to look forward to. After only one day, though, she's coming along pretty well. Getting the idea that "outside" is the place to do her "business".

Fortunately, our two kids have more energy than she does, and she seems to crash hard and often. Hopefully tonight I will get more sleep than I did last night, but we'll see.
