What genres do you read?

I was just thinking about this. Mystery authors seem to be well represented here on Journalscape by Laura Lippman, S.J. Rozan, Eric Mayer, and Keith Snyder. Writers in the Fantasy/SF field would probably include Tim Pratt and Michael Jasper.

As far as I can tell, no horror or dark fantasy authors are represented here.

My question is: What do JS'ers read? Do you stick to one genre? Do you avoid a particular genre? Are you a non-fiction reader? If so, what type of non-fiction?

Me, I'll read almost anything, but I do avoid most romance novels. (I hooked up with an aspiring writer years ago, and we tried to collaborate on a "vampire romance", but I didn't have a real clear idea of where to go, and she never really contributed to the story.)

I read mostly mysteries, but I also am a SF fan, and I read and have read several horror authors. I also read biographies if the subject interests me (currently reading Obama's THE AUDACITY OF HOPE), analyses, and those offbeat true stories (I have one, for example, about a Boy Scout who basically developed plans for a nuclear device in his backyard).

I'd be interested in seeing what others read, and maybe more interested in seeing what they avoid...
