Nothing to post really, except that Ray, the guitar player I referenced in my previous entry, has not responded to my email, and I don't have a current phone number for him.

Here I had this all worked out. I was listening to Jeff Boyle's latest CD with an ear out for what songs would be good to do in a band...thinking that we could maybe even sell Jeff's discs at our shows if and when we got to play out, and I was listening to drum parts (I play drums, though not particularly well. I can keep a beat and do some rudimentary fills and such...) with the idea that Jeff would go to acoustic guitar or piano and vocals...

Ray would be perfect, because his tastes in music and mine are pretty similar. We both like a lot of Chicago rock and roll, and we like the folk rock of guys like John Hiatt. Ray's a bit more into Skynyrd and southern rock in general than I am, but he's versatile on guitar with his sound and capable of playing a number of styles.

If I don't hear from him, I will likely try to come up with another solution as lead guitarist, but I'd REALLY like Ray...
