I haven't been making any journal entries here for a while now...first we were on vacation, then I've been so busy at work and home that I really haven't had time to sit down and think about anything long enough to put it into a semi-coherent form.

We did have a fun vacation - Disney World for a week right after the kids got out of school. Both did very well in their respective grades. They, and we, needed the vacation! My older boy and I went on almost all the "big kid" rides - Tower Of Terror, Rock'n'Roller Coaster, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Test Track, Mission Space, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain...all the mountains as you can see. And we had some very good dining experiences, especially at Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot, and Le Chefs de France in Epcot. We found a good Persian restaurant in Orlando, called Shiraz, the food was good there as was the company. And we also ate at the 50's Prime Time Cafe in Disney Hollywood Studios, which was a lot of fun. The only meal that was less than very good was at the Mexican restaurant in Epcot, called San Angel Inn. And it wasn't bad, but I've had better locally...

I read a very good SF book called MANIFOLD TIME when I was on vacation, very cool look at a near future.

I'll be trying to post again in the not too distant future, but we're running off to Michigan over the 4th of July, and we have lots going on in July. So - Busy summer!
