6 books I want to get thru this summer...

I saw this on another blog. Of course I'll be reading a bunch of books this summer. Hopefully more than 6. But I have a few that I definitely want to get through.

I have at least one Lee Child book, 61 HOURS, on the shelf to read. Definitely want to get to that one.

I (and my boys) have the latest from Rick Riordan, Throne Of Fire on the pile, and will be reading that one.

I have a few by Stephen King, but I think I'd like to read Under The Dome this summer. I may read others that I haven't gotten to, like Lisey's Story or Duma Key also. Let's not count those, however.

I have a couple of Michael Connelly books in the queue. I want to read the next of those. Perhaps it's Scarecrow but I'm really not sure. Whichever is the next one in the Bosch series for me.

I also want to read The Desert Spear by Peter Brett at some point this summer. I really enjoyed the first book, The Warded Man.

I want to pick up at least one book from the backlist of books that have been on my shelf for a long time. It's been a long time since I've read anything in Orson Scott Card's Alvin Maker series. I have the last book of that series, The Crystal City, sitting on my shelf staring at me, as it has been for a long time. I'd like to clear that one from the queue finally.

There will be others, for sure. But those are six that I already have that I'd like to get through this summer.
