Howl

This week the I didn't do as well with writing. I'm still avoiding e-mail and Internet after work, but the wordage just isn't coming along. I had hoped to write a short story for the WOTF deadline at the end of the month. Well, the words aren't flowing on that one either. Now I'm eager to get back to the novel and finish the damn thing. Weird.

I talked to fellow Wordo, Dianna Rodgers, on Tuesday and she told me what I needed to hear. Finish the draft. Finish it before tinkering with the first three chapters. Priorities, priorities. Thanks, Dianna.

It snowed in the Eugene area on Thursday and Friday. On Friday the snow stuck around south Eugene (where we live) for most of the morning. It was lovely to see the pine branches covered with snow. Hail on Friday night, too. There's been some weird weird weather. Bring on spring.

I made an impulse buy (or call it splurging) at Costco today. Howl's Moving Castle is out on DVD and we haven't seen it, so I bought it. I also picked up for the collection: My Neighbor Totoro and Castle In The Sky. Entertainment abounds!
