So far, 2004 hasn't totally sucked. Not too shabby, seeing as how we're only 3 days into it.

Not that 2003 was anything to complain about. In what has apparently been dubbed "The Old School Gamer Wedding", Jen and I got married back in March, and Jen spent the rest of the year graduating from law school, kicking the Bar Exam's ass, and being sworn in as a lawyer. I, on the other hand, spent the rest of the year sort of slaving to the grind... nothing particularly bad, but not anything majorly spectacular either. I think my major accomplishment this year, non-work-or-wedding-related, was finally getting my learner's permit again.

That's pretty damn sad. I need loftier goals. And I'll get to them in a little bit.

Jen and I spent New Year's Eve together - went to the fondue restaurant up on Ventura Blvd. that we like, came home, watched TV, futzed around on the computer, and rang in the new year quietly. We were supposed to head out to Disneyland yesterday and become proud members of the Annual Pass club, but it was pouring here in Studio City when we woke up and didn't feel like trudging around Disneyland in the rain. So, we stayed home. We'll hopefully be trying it again tomorrow, weather permitting.

Last night, Jen, Berek and I went to the Nuart to catch the midnight show of Fight Club. I had nearly forgotten how much I liked that movie... it's been a while since I saw it. It was Berek and Jen's first time seeing it as well, and I think they dug it. Next week is Tron, and the following week is The Princess Bride... I think the Nuart may be seeing more of us.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll be posting again shortly with some resolutions I've made for myself for 2004. I want to see if any of them actually work this year.
