Well, it's not numb anymore.

Earlier today, I had a dentist's appointment out here. There were a few cavities I needed filled in (nothing major), and as can be expected, there was drilling and filling and stuff involved. Which means that I had a shot of novocaine before all of it.

That stuff is pretty potent. Within a few minutes, my right cheek, right half of my tongue, and all the teeth on that side of my face had gone completely numb. It also meant that I was quickly transformed into a drooling, lisping retard who had to take great pains not to chew off half his tongue. Blech.

Everything went pretty well - I'm going back tomorrow to finish up one or two other minor things, and have the fillings that were put in today filed a bit (my back teeth on the left side aren't biting down quite right). Tonight, once again, we're just chilling out and watching TV.

And, I guess Jen was right. I'm a llama.

Take the quiz: "What is your personal mascot?"

You are a bit shy, and some see you as a bit old-fashioned and country. But your friends love your sweet personality and you will be loved for life.
