Well, I have to say that the forest is feeling less friendly nowadays. It's lovely to look around at the greenery bursting out from every side, the gorgeous flowers, the leafy trees...but the stinging nettles are driving me crazy! They hang straight over the narrow footpaths, and this afternoon I accidentally brushed my left arm against a clump of them. Right now that arm is one big swollen red mass of stinging nettle welts, running all the way from my elbow to my knuckles. Ouch! Maybe I should start wearing protective gear when Nika and I go out for our walks....

No fiction writing yet today (bad! bad!), but I did finally find some possible readings for the wedding. As usual, organization is proceeding at a snail's pace and mostly at the last minute...is anyone really surprised?
