Woot! For the first time in about 3 weeks, I cracked the 1,000-words-a-day goal in one (VERY) long stretch today. Hooray! I finally feel like I'm back inside the story, and back in Kat's mindset as I write.

Which is an awfully fun place to be.

I celebrated by going onto Amazon and ordering Coupling Season 4, Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely, and Ralph Keyes's The Courage to Write: How Writers Transcend Fear. Oh, and then I showered. And did a load of laundry. Both of which were a bit less exciting, but...er...possibly even more necessary.

And now I'm finally, finally going to let Maya onto my lap, where she's been campaigning to sit for the last three hours!
