I just organized my council tax discount for the year and, feeling satisfied & productive, decided to take a break to read journals. I found - via Christopher Barzak - a very disconcerting right-brain/left-brain test.

I came out strongly, unquestionably right-brain focused. (Which - at least based on the qualities listed on that site - would not be a surprise to anyone who knows me.) But what was really freaky was the way the test actually worked. It made me realize just how subjective my visual perceptions can be, even when they seem obvious and indisputable to me. Very, very disconcerting.
