I remember once I was visiting Peter in California and it was REALLY cold outside. I don't remember if I wasn't dressed appropriately or if it was wintertime.

I was shivering and Peter said that I could simply ignore the cold and that if I used "Shiva, Shiva" as a mantra, it would "destroy" my sensations of cold.

I don't recall that it worked too well...
