I've decided a few things today.

My initial plan to have more themed journals, this one and LJ kinda went by the wayside. Now I just randomly post depending on my mood and which audience I feel like ranting or unwinding to at the moment. I try to make sure that no one misses out on anything good, but that is the extent of it. There's really just different communities connected to the same person. Moi!

Javascript is interesting, and will do me quite well in what my planned online endeavors are. My note is this: quick learn books are gimmicks. "Learn Java in 24 Hours" "Program Like a Pro in One Weekend" "Instant Programming Gratification" (no, these are not real titles, just the types of titles that line bookshelves these days) are not going to make you a pro with very little work. I got to thinking, evaluating my new javascript beginner books, and realized I'd be somewhat majorly lost if I wasn't still utilizing basic fundamentals that I learned when I was still in Computer Science.

I hate picking up the jobs that other people do not want to do, only to have it backfire on me if the job turns out to be taxing or screwed to begin with. It's hard to not look like your dropping the ball when the project itself collapses. *sigh*

People who would undermine you to your back while smiling to your face in the workplace, are lame and should be beaten, then eaten, by polar bears.

And finally...
PMS sucks. It really really does.
