Ring di-diddle-aye-oh
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt."

I'm sure she'll tell you all about it in her journal but I wanted to note the song that may very well lead Misty to fame and fortune! She just got back from the freezing Utah mountains after competing for the Irene Ryan award, as well as going to a lot of professional workshops and, unexpectedly, auditioning for an additional scolarship and acceptance into a school up north. (sorry hun, forgot the name of the school)

She had to do a scene, a monologue, an improv scene, and a song. Since it was apparently a bit absurdist and comedic, instead of singing a practiced Broadway piece, she went up and belted "The Scotsman" and apparently they loved it. I hope she gets it, it sounds like a great opportunity. Congrats to the rest of her friends who are going on to other competitions. It all sounds great guys!

In other news, went to Daredevil and enjoyed it quite a bit. I've got a few criticisims with some of the writing and a couple of the scenes that could have been done much better, but all in all, I liked it. Collin Farrell was great, he was a creepy, mean, not over the top (like some villans), and used hisreal accent as opposed to his fake american accent. He's been in so many things lately. I wonder if there will be another sighting of him at my regular karaoke hangout (he showed up on one of my absentee nights *sigh*).

Speaking of which, I'm at a loss as to what to sing tonight. I want to do something different, but I don't want it to suck, and I don't know how I'll do with a song I've never done before. Oh well.

I should probably be more concerned about my personal trainer appointment today. He gets to see my log of all the junk food I've been eating. I'll just have to make up for it. I dig having someone there to get me started on the right track, and have two more paid sessions, but wow hav I pushed the "well you can eat what you want but stay within these limits" a bit much. I haven't lost any weight, but I've noticed a bit more tone in my legs. You've gotta start somewhere.

Man do I want to see Chicago again.

And for those keeping track, Clue 10 A will be up tonight, *hopefully* before 10 pm PST.
