So it took me a half an hour longer to get to work today. Same bus, supposed same schedule, but between traffic and just going slow, we were late yet again.

It did however mean that I was able to get through a lot of Otherland (Tad Williams). Sometime last year I misplaced Volume 2, and didn't have the other's in paperback so stopped reading them. I now have them all in paperback, which are much more portable, and it's been so long so I'm starting from the beginning. It is going along very quickly as I am easily remembering scenes so can move right along.

So I came in to receiving 4 voicemails. Some were clearly customers who were given my info as an escalation point but I have no idea what the initial issue was yet. Another customer has decided that, after being shut down for being delinquent in payments for 10 months, then brought back up, insists that we walked him through steps in his email configurations that totally screwed him up, and that we needed to send someone out to his place to fix Outlook for him. He's already escalated to corporate, to demand compensation for being down (although the downtime was due to his unpaid bill) and to get someone out there because I was unable to fulfill that request.

Good luck I say.

In other news, about 25 emails in my inbox this morning contained multiple pictures of graphic full penetration of most bodily orifices. I think people pay top dollar to witness half of what I see when deleting daily spam.

Driving lesson went well yesterday. The guy picked me up for my lesson, which can be translated to he paralell parked the car on my street, and made me get into the driver's seat, unpark the car, and go from there. I went all over the place, and made left hand turns at streets that even my sister gets nervous at. Of course, he had an accesllerator and brake on his side so it was a little easier. I need a few more hours, probably in lower light, and then I should be all set!

Getting craft supplies to make the favors for the big game next week took way longer than expected, so I did not get a chance to do the web work that I had planned on. *sigh* I swear that someone is stealing hours out of my day.
