It seems that everyone else is done with Harry Potter except me. Even Erik blew through the 4th and 5th since Saturday, I've barely spent any time reading it. I really want to get back to it, because I keep hearing that it's great.

In other news, it is now officially Thusday. Have I heard from my new boss yet? ... Nope! Does this worry me? ... Yep!

So, while I'm trying not to get stressed out too much about hearing about more potential changes but getting no actual facts from anyone, let alone my silent boss, I'm just keeping busy, but it's busywork, not real projects or accomplishment, and it's frustrating. Tomorrow is payday. Paydays are generally when people get let go. I think I'm okay for at least a few more paydays, but who knows.

I'm kinda between wanting to get some recognition, but not wanting to draw attention to myself. It's really lame.

Went to the gym Tuesday and am planning to go again tonight. It has been too long, and I feel like I'm starting all over again. My endurance for any cardio is way down, and I cannot lift the weights that I used to (arms and legs) I've made use of my home mini stepper twice, but it's only been there for a few days. It is nice to get active again, it should help with the stress.

Other than job anxiousness I've had a pretty good week. Karaoke was cool. I was able to help out Coyote and Aberrantvirtue on their Tuesday trek to Disneyland, which was cool. They came over yesterday before Aberrantvirtue had to get back on a plane to go home. I made margaritas before she had to leave, they were not bad ( I need to learn how to mix drinks better) Coyote came back to watch more X-Files with us.

After midnight, I presented Erik with a Half-Birthday present, season 2 of DS 9. It was cool, he totally wasn't expecting it and was really very please about it. It was the first Half-Birthday present I've ever given anyone, and did it for two reasons. First: total surprise factor (who even keeps track of their half birthday?). Second: Having your birthday the day after Christmas is frustrating and sucks ass. Family and friends get you christmas/birthday combo presents and that's lame. I'm glad he liked it.

Although while shopping I realized exactly how many boxed sets of DVDs and TV series seasons I really want to own.
