So, it's Wednesday, and I've gotten a few things done that I was going to try to get done this week. My bout with insonmia has got me a little bit behind, and as I'm an over achiever already it only makes it worse, but anyways...

Got into a free screening of Intolerable Cruelty last night. Oh My God, it was so funny! You've GOT to see this film when it comes out! It's a Cohen brothers film, who brought you such great stuff as Raising Arizona and Big Lebowski, and starring George Cloony, who has been consistantly impressing me, and quickly becoming today's Cary Grant/Clark Gable (a la Capra films such as Arsenic and Old Lace and It Happened One Night) as very suave and handsome, very clever, expressive, and great comedic timing.

So, in short, see this movie when it comes out Oct. 10th.

Today is shaping up rather well except for the fact that the person who I have been trying to ommunicate with from corporate in regards to amendments to my contract has decided to take a week off for vacation without answering any of my questions. I have even made it clear that they are not only my questions, but questions from three other people that I have conveniently condensed together in a simple yet descriptive format. Is that too much to ask?

So tonight is likely going to be all work, except for my one hour for Star Trek, and perhaps one hour of reading before bed.

Tomorrow night, from 9pm to 7am the next day, LACMA will be open for free with two big exhibits, games, drawings, and prizes. I hardly ever get to go so this is a chance to soak it all in, and do a little bit of people watching, checking out the freaks who want to spend the evening and wee hours of the morning looking at modern art... oh wait, that would be me huh. :)

Almost fully prepped for Saturday's game. Looking forward to it actually, and I think it should go pretty well, unless the players decide to totally ignore my plot, but that's OK too.

Eagerly anticipating Friday's Talk Like A Pirate day, as I will also be in a slight costume. I didn't spend all that time on my Pirates of the Caribean costume just to wear it once, and the office could use a little pick me up, and perhaps a bit of a parrrrrrrrrty!

Okay, just have to say it since it jumped into my head...

"But... Why is the RUM gone?!" :)
