So I took a break off of writing and joined the 4 boys, and Elisa, on a journey to a day of Star Trek. Not the show, but the game.

And dude, it was all about Kody.

Kody has been trying to get us out there to show off his house for frickin ever. He recently bought it out by San Diego and we finally got a chance to hold the game over there. Their house is pretty big, and has a great back yard with a big patio, and fruist trees. I ate a couple pomegranets from the tree and took one more home. It's a pretty mint green and a very warm place to visit. :)

His wife is doing well, and he's got the coolest kid in the whole world. Harry was running all over the place, chasing their dog, trying to hold conversations with all of us, eating candy, crawling through the dog door, which is apparently a regular activity according to Jenny. He never really fussed that I can recall, and was a very happy child. He's 19 months now, bright blond hair, smily, and loves to share. He was taking candy from his Trick Or Treat bowl and just handing it out to everyone.

The game went pretty long, but it was a fun long, not a dragging on long. We were grilling burgers and eating candy and veggies and just catching up with each other as well as playing so it was a pretty good, laid back mix.

Star Trek was fun, and I really want to do it again really soon. However, Erik is going to be busy with this directing gig that he has, so it may be a few weeks again before playing. If nothing else, the shows go on the beginning of December. He's now directing two big groups in over a dozen actual SNL skits for a show for Hollywood Fight Club. On top of teaching, I don't think he's going to have much time to run a game before it's done.

Kody's going to be going to Iraq in February, and will also be stationed in 29 Palms soon, which is just a bit farther than San Diego. I'm pretty sure we'll make the best of it though, and hang out as much as possible before he leaves.

Okay, enough journalling. Back to writing, and cleaning house, and doing laundry. Misty might come over tonight instead of tomorrow, as we're going to see Cyndi Lauper tomorrow, so I want to make sure to get the big tasks out of the way, and get a better word count. :)
