So I start my new job on Monday.

I drove for several hours today, including on the freeways! I won't be commuting on the bus for long to work. :)

I got my first parking ticket ever. Totally silly oversight too. I knew there was a meter. I thought about where my change was when I stopped there, but just simply forgot to put the change into the meter before walking away. Oh well.

I tried Chantico, which is Starbucks new invention. It's drinkable chocolate. Not your usual hot chocolate, but drinkable chocolate. Whoa, it was hot, and creamy, and chocolate goodness. I know exactly where to go next time PMS strikes. :)

Seriously, it's drinkable chocolate, not to be confused with what you would generally qualify as a chocolate drink.

I saw a screening of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was glorious. Good acting, true to the book for the most part, good FX (though they said that it was unfinished so I expect it will be more detailed still), still it's own sense of British humor and tributes to the old British show, and just a fun little film.

Well I'm off to bed. I have a lot to do tomorrow before my birthday party.
