So my morning flew by, and my Monday flew by. Work has been busy busy busy. I'm a bit annoyed at receiving no updates for going on 3 days in regards to the current "issue" from last week, but I'm hoping to take care of that by the end of the day today.

I promise, I'll put a run down in the journal about what's going on once I get some finalized answer from someone. I don't want to be premature about anything.

In other news, I closed up the show Sunday. Two casts, 12 performances total of Farndale blah blah blah blah blah (11 word title) Murder Mystery. It was a good show. Everyone who watched it seemed to have liked it. I went with the cast to hang out after the show, and had myself quite the Hollywood adventure.

What started as a small group meeting for a drink at Cat & Fiddle turned into a 4 hour hang out at Mirabelle's on the Sunset Strip, where I found myself chatting with a long haired millionaire named Gary, a professor named Bill from Ireland who has done everything from work at a university in Fresno california to run a theater in London and then some, and getting some good old rock star stories from a good old rock star Joey Covington, drummer from Jefferson Airplane/Starship, etc etc.

It was very surreal. They were talking about hanging with Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant. Joey was talking about hanging out with Arthur Miller and his tarantula collection, and other interesting people/friends/actors/writers/celebrities through the years. Gary Millionaire (I never caught his last name) stopped a girl who was selling roses and bought half of them, and passed them around to all of the girls at our table. Gary Millionaire covered the checks for both places with joy, and there were a lot of expensive drinks and dishes to be had. The girl from the cast who knew these three men also apparently knows everyone else in Hollywood, or at least random people at that place. People sent over drinks, desserts, came over for hugs with either her or Joey or Gary. Bill the professor was the most interesting. I sat next to him and he had so much insight and encouraging words for anyone who is trying to be a success in entertainment industry or with life in general. He spoke of being a jack of all trades but a master in none, and enjoying life and all it has.

*sigh* It was awesome. I got complements from Joey and Bill, while Gary covertly smoked out and blew it out the window with the look of "I dare them to throw me out of this place. They love me and they know it."

I got a ride home from the director of the show, who is also teh lead carpenter for Pagent of the Masters, and we chatted about the surreal time we had, and the fact that we're glad that the show went well, and that it is done.

I've got a lot of catching up to do with my life. No more shows for now. Just catching up.

Health/Walking/Weight/Etc update next.
