On the weekend:

Friday night, which I always include in the weekend, was excellent. Erik picked me up from work, we cruised over to Koyote's, had some bitchin bbq, and said farewell to Star Trek. We chatted quite a bit, until I fell asleep on the couch (Had been up for 22 hours after 4ish hours of sleep, what can I say.)

Saturday was Werewolf The Forsaken (known as WTF from now forward) and Vampire Requiem, the two new LARP chronicles that I am very much enjoying, though feeling still very unprepared and uninformed though I've been playing this Chronicle for Vampire for 6 months now.

Saturday was Ren Faire, which included getting Erik a big black floppy velvet hat with feathers that he wore proudly all day. Yay! Saw three Sound and Fury shows, cause Erik digs them, they're my buds, and they're the wiggety WACK! (would say shiznit, but that word is so over done) :)

On the job front:

Currently over 2 weeks since I was told that I was officially fired. Still working however. Still no other word. Still getting things together and looking for legal advice on the matter. Not happy with how this has been handled, and not happy with my little niece asking me if I'd been fired yet. (Which means my boss has been talking about me to other people in my company that are not in my chain of command, very not good) Am frustrated, but am working.

On the theater company:

Lindy will be getting all of the paperwork done by the 23rd. We have another meeting scheduled for that time. If we get things filed and fees paid, I could have my company established for the most part by the end of the month. :)

On friends needing help:

So I have this tendancy of offering help and advice very quickly, and then trying to figure out how to fix things later. I am currently scrambling to make sure that my friend, who on my advice is moving out to LA without a job or place to stay yet (he just lost his job and place to stay in colorado), and is on a bus to be in tomorrow night. If anyone reading this happens to have some spare crash space for a few days, know that this is a dear friend of mine of like 13ish years and that any help would be appreciated (details at further inquiry). We are close to having a long term solution, but it is unfortunately not an immediate one. Between my sister and I we have resources to help more than he would have had in Colorado.

On my apartment:

I in general like my apartment, but I have not had a kitchen for over 2 weeks now, have had a hole in my wall for about two weeks, and still have to move my furniture around so that painting can continue. Generally, I would have had crash space for someone, but timing doesn't always happen right.

My landlords have been dragging ass about everything, including ignoring written inquiries dropped off several times and included with rent. I just want them to finish my place. Is that tooo much to ask?

Next on the list of things to do with the place: Un-Clutter and Burn It All (details on burn plans soon) :)

On life in general:

What can I say, I must love a challenge and revel in stress, and thrive in trying to make things happen.
