So Far So Good

So I've only had two interviews so far this week. I applied to about a dozen other jobs, but I think the two interviews both went well, and I'll probably wind up having to choose between the two. Then again, I don't want to get too ahead of myself. I've worked with the people at both places previously though, and now it's just wait-and-see.

One of the companies I applied to this week called me for an interview, but they left a bad number. :( I'm hoping they call back because the rest of the message was choppy I'm not even entirely sure which company it was.

Was sad to see Russell go this morning, but hope that he has better luck and a new perspective back in Colorado.

Saw a screening of Bad News Bears last night. I was impressed with the extent that they went with the movie profanity and content-wise for a "kid's film". It was pretty true to the original, which I guess was just as harsh. It was funny. If you dug the original, you'll dig it when it comes out. If you dig brutal brash humor, you'll like it.

I have no further interviews scheduled, and am already feeling all restless about that. I've had such a packed schedule for the past couple of weeks, which was a good start, so now am just kinda stressed, just a little. It's more like a weird knee-jerk reaction than an actual concious state of mind, because things are going really well. *shurg* It's just weird being in this state of being.

Maybe I'll start writing something, or pick up a book tomorrow.

Can't wait for another Hike The Geek hike, though my legs are still complaining about the 8 miles the roughly 7 miles up a mountain, a whopping 21,613 steps for the day. I think that makes up for some of the no exercise days that I've had the past couple of weeks. It is just hard to work a workout into your schedule when you don't have a real schedule, and your mind is preoccupied. I met a lot of cool people during the hike, and hope to get to know them all better.

Well, that's it, I think I'm going to sit and watch some movie on On Demand before going to bed.

Night!
