November 1st, the home stretch to the end of the year. 2 full months to go. It's been a hugely eventful year. October had been a hugely eventful month. I had been debating kicking off my November with a NaNoWriMo, but after much careful thought, there is so much that I need to work on this month that NaNo, as cool as it would be, would just nudge out of the way.

MMmmmm... Halloweeen candy... Nice start to the morning. :)

Last night was totally fun. After some contemplation and debate, watched a freaky cool movie (Nick/Mars you must see the ending) and decided to journey out to Hollywood for some Clockwork Orange fun. Erik wasn't really up for dance club scene last night, but gave us his blessing to go mix it up. I put on some makeup, scrunched up my hair, and grabbed a feather boa. That was the extent of my costume. It worked well though. Traffic was "teh suck" and we were too late to use the discount coupons, but there was much fun smiling and booty shakin to be had once we got in. Highlights of the evening included seeing Kenny and meeting his friends, dancing on the raised box to Oingo Boingo and Prince, seeing various well made costumes, the boys doing some fabulous dancing with my fabulous boa, and of course, no evening is complete without me totally tripping on a step down from the sitting area and falling into dancers landing on my knees (ow) and breaking the heel of my shoe (not totally but the plastic end cap is gone). Rockin!

Seriously though, I'm glad we went. The haunted house/corn maze/dark trail will have to be hit next year though, with more planning.

This is not my ICC (LARP convention) post. I have some things to do before my full ICC post. I must say however that I had a lot of fun at ICC and am really happy I went. I had been fairly iffy as of recent in regards to the venues that I've been playing, Requiem (new vampire) especially. There had been some parts of the game that were becoming frustrating and parts of the game that I was afraid I'd just lose interest in if they continued in the direction I saw them going. I had been able to get some more of my background solidified, which helped a lot with my character's purpose, and have now really established myself within the game. I guess I didn't notice that I had been establishing myself for a while now quite a bit until I came face to face with everyone for the first ICC. So, long story short, I'm totally hooked in again. FIGJAM!

Am in the process of planning New Years trip to Vegas. Am working on proposals for my production company. Am trying to set up a schedule that will include eating right and exercising. Am trying to make sure I get all the training in that I can for the tech and management development courses that I have access to through work. Am needing to get the website established for the company as well. Boy do I have a lot of goals to accomplish befopre the year is out.
