I feel like I'm missing out on a huge subculture of a subculture by not playing WoW. But that's neither here nor there. It's not really something I see myself getting into any time soon with all of the other things that I plan to actually be busy accomplishing.

Been pondering New Years resolutions. Have a lot of general vague ones, but I want to get them down to things that are quite specific, not easily forgotton, and quite achieveable.

In other news, I have lots of presents waiting to be opened. I feel very loved. I also just finished shopping for stuff today. Feeling very happy with the things I got for people. Also relaxed.

I did not get a chance to get presents for everyone I wanted to this time around, and didn't even get a chance to get cards out but budget got the best of me, especially with the trip to Vegas coming up. Darn my sense of financial responsibility, I want to buy everything for everyone.

Today didn't go exactly as planned. Initial goal was to take care of getting a prescription, finally getting 5 boxes shipped to Russell, and a couple of other odds and ends, by noon or early afternoon, then making my way down to Long Beach to help a friend move. Unfortunately, got a later start than I had hoped, Post Office was a mad house (I don't know what I was thinking by choosing today as opposed to waiting till after Christmas other than the fact that I had the day off), and Rite Aid took well over 2 hours to fill a prescription when their usual running time is 20 minutes max. By the time I would have gotten overto her place to help her move, they would have already been done. Gotta make somke time to hang with her soon though, I'm certain I can manage it without too much complication.

Gonna catch some movies this weekend, mostly Christmas Day as is traditional for me. I wish the movies opening this Christmas were a bit more promising though. There are definitely things I want to see, but nothing in particular that I'm excited about seeing. I really think that things like Harry Potter, Narnia, and King Kong, are the types of big moves that should be out this weekend, not "Fun with Dick and Jane" and "The Ringer" (which BTW has got to be one of the most offensive movie concepts I have seen in a long time.

Watched "Dogville" today, very weird little film. A bit of a downer movie, and quite long. I've never seen a movie done quite that manner before, and it was very compelling (not a word I use often but totally fits here)

So, presents tomorrow (traditional for Erik and his family, to put a little bit of room between Christmas and hios birthday on the 26th) and presents and breakfast at Misty's on Sunday, and Monday, which I have off (my company is so cool), will be a bunch of stuff for Erik's birthday including, but not limited to Mini Golf, arcade, dinner, and KARAOKE! I'm happy about KARAOKE (can't you tell, it's in caps) because I haven't been in a damn long time. All are welcome to join us in birthday extravaganza-ness.

Then two and a half days of work, then Vegas.

Fin.
