Misc.

I can’t remember a single occasion where I was anything near the St. Patty’s Party Pooper that I was last night. I ended up going out after and work with J & J’s crowd, ended up being subjected to endless bickering and fighting between the two of them, began to get annoyed by the rest of the people that we were with, got annoyed with the obnoxious drunkards milling about, became annoyed with the entire world, and went home at about nine to spend the rest of the evening alone with my dogs. I should have stayed there to begin with.

Another long day is ahead of me. Work here today, work at the restaurant tonight, and afterwards I will try to pull myself into some semblance of attractiveness to meet the man of the weird phone call from Wednesday. He called again last night, not so weird, to see if I wanted to join him in his efforts to stay awake and entertained (apparently his crazy computer job has him going in strange hours, like 4 am Saturday morning…sounds just awful to me). We’ll see how it goes.

Saturday and Sunday I don’t work and I plan to enjoy the rainy spring-like weather by putting on my rain gear and heading for the woods. If I don’t come home covered in mud I will be very disappointed. I also plan on taking the bike in for a tune up so that I’m prepared for the odd fifty-degree day (I’m one of those wimpy mountain bikers that won’t ride unless it’s over fifty outside). Other than that I will venture home to try to help a bit, if only with my presence. Sunday I will be subjected to one of those awful “candle parties” (I HATE those stupid things…anyone who knows me should know better than to invite me to anything where I have to show up, look through a catalog, buy stuff, and play games…GRRR!), and I’m “supposed” to have a date on Sunday with the man from Monday night. We’ll see if that ever materializes.

So, that’s that. Back to editing. Yay.
