Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

It was movie afternoon in the house today.

The first movie was "Heaven Can Wait" with Warren Beatty and Julie Christie. This is a 1978 movie and a fun movie.

This was followed by - drum roll please - "Love means never having to say you're sorry." Yes, folks, "Love Story." This 1970 film is worth a box of Kleenex at the end. At one point in my life I had the album soundtrack to that movie. And, how many times did you say THE line and mean it?

These were both 70s era movies. It is so strange how movie making has changed over the years. How young those stars were.

After yesterday's rain, it has been clear. I do see some blue skies peaking through the clouds. I think I even saw the waxing moon last night but I cannot remember for sure.

Now a new day has arrived.

No rain yet but it is gloomy outside. The apartment is chilly. I believe it is getting time to consider lighting the pilot light to the wall heater so we can take the chill off the rooms. I think we will go another week and see what the weather does.

As I write, Bailey is sleeping in Michael's computer chair. I can tell he feels the chill in the air because he is all curled up and he has his nose covered by his paws and tail. Ah, they are so cute when they are sleeping.

A nice thing happened today, a neighbor brought over peanut butter cookies and honey bran muffins. Yum to both of them. This is what is neat about our little community is that we share whatever we have as extras.
