Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Michael woke me up at 8:30 a.m. I am going to try and get up at this time with his assistance. Of course, Bailey was there for good morning kitty kisses.

Well, it wasn't all house stuff today because I needed to finish up yesterday's entry and write this one.

After doing the laundry on Thursday, we now have clean sheets. So that is my first project. I had Michael give me a hand and in no time the bed was made. We found another large blanket which makes two now on our bed. We are hoping we can go without the smaller ones. So tonight will be the test if we have enough covering to stay warm.

Other bedroom projects were to put my clean clothes away, dust the mini-blinds and did they need it. To finish up I vacuumed the carpet and the hallway carpet.

I took care of one of my hotspots, my table next to my chair. I cleared it off so we could put up our little table top Yule tree gifted to us from our next door neighbors. Biker Claus is on one side and Izzy the fairy pig is on the other side. My sister's gift box arrived today so we could place her gifts around the tree. Gee, I think this is the most festive we have been since we got together. It looks pretty good in our living room.
