Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Friday

It feels like it was Friday, yesterday. My, where has the week gone?

I had a hard time getting up today. Just didn't want to get this day started.

Only I had to get up because I was going to have a phone chat with my Al-Anon sponsor. This is always a good thing because we go over what is going on in my life and how I am applying the Steps and Traditions to my situations. When we were done, I felt really good and we have made another time to get together.

I was feeling good but then the doom and gloom settled in. I vegged on playing computer games, reading and responding to e-mail, and surfing the web.

When Michael got up, he got me going so that I would be ready to go to the food bank. I really didn't want to go but this is one of the good ones. We always get healthy food and have a good selection.

I was glad I went once I arrived. Our friend M came and we spent time chatting with her and other regulars. This week not only did I come out of there with food, I was gifted two tops to wear, and three magazine of which I do not subscribe to.

Once we put away the refrigerated goods, I called the pet store to see if the order of litter, which I wanted, had come in. Noooo. Hmm, now what? I asked the clerk if they had anything within my budget and yes, they had a bag of clumping clay litter.

I was not in the mood to walk up there though it probably would have done me some good. Michael was good enough to drive me up to the store and home we came with the clumping clay litter.

I hope Bailey is going to be okay with this. There is enough of his litter left to mix in with the clay litter. I can see right now I'm not going to like the clay litter because it is dusty. I don't want Bailey breathing in that stuff nor do I want to breath in the dust.

I can see now that I am going to go for the expense and purchase a large bag of the Swheat Scoop. This brand does have some dust but not much. I think the bag says it is 99 percent dust free. What I like is that the bathroom where the litter box is smells like wheat.

Well, I'm off to my meeting tonight. Everyone have a wonderful evening and a great weekend.
