Dispatches from the City of Angels

I'm a writer and humorist living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my novel LOSING CLEMENTINE out March 6 from William Morrow. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often.

The kick-off party

Welcome old friends and new ones!

We've moved from the old blog to this new one, launched the website, taken some author photos and otherwise tried to spiffy up the place. It's like taking off the grubby jeans and yanking the pantyhose out of the drawer. I even put on lipstick.

If you subscribed to the old blog, I'm afraid you'll need to re-subscribe to this one. Many apologies for the inconvenience. Just click on the "subscribe" link above, and you'll be sent an e-mail notification every time a new entry appears. Then and only then. I use the subscription service myself and can vouch for the no-spam policy.

And while you're clicking on things, click on the "my website" link above. It's brand-spanking new and ready for your arrival. There's a bio, author photo, contact information, news about upcoming books and an archive of some of the more memorable blog posts from days of yore.

Take a look around and come back often. We look forward to having you.
