Dispatches from the City of Angels

I'm a writer and humorist living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my novel LOSING CLEMENTINE out March 6 from William Morrow. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often.

Signings, bookstores and bears, oh my!

Okay, I've only had about a third of my daily allowance of caffeine so far, so that's my excuse. Several people have been asking about the upcoming anthology, where they can buy it and if I'll be anywhere to sign it. And I didn't know. So today, like a sane person, I actually dropped a note to the editors and ASKED. Why I didn't do this sooner, I don't know. Some days, it's amazing you get your shoes on the right feet, ya know?

So here's what he said.

It's too early to actually have stores or interviews or signings booked. BUT he expects that things will be similar to the last anthology they did. With the last one, books were available on Amazon.com, independent bookstores and on special order from any bookstore. There were several signings in the L.A. area for those who wanted to stop by and meet the authors. And this time, they are hoping to book a few radio interviews and the like, too.

As soon as things firm up and dates start swimming around, I'll post here and on the new website.

Take care, and we'll see you in the bookshop!
