Gah. Just as I gathered myself together to start writing I discovered that I'm almost out of baccy and although there's an open shop at the bottom of the road, I don't like going down there as it's mainly pissed blokes down there and I don't like pissed blokes. So bah humbug.

I've had a day of two halves - difficult, distressing counselling - - meh, and then a chilled, chatty, life-affirming mooching about afternoon with YD. (Try and think of that sentence's punctuation as experimental rather than plain wrong. Cheers.)

Now I'm very stoned and could do with a fag.

Today I am grateful for: My darling YD and the laughs we have in between all the other stuff; my Sis getting into the curling and being funny about it (Olympic not hair); walking a bit, though without the pedometer; the absence of strife over food today; blackcurrant jam
