Plain Banter
. . . lies about science fiction, and everything else.

When the writer becomes the center of his attention, he becomes a nudnik. And a nudnik who believes he's profound is even worse than just a plain nudnik. -- Isaac Bashevis Singer

Busy doing nothing

We're busy doing nothing, working the whole day through
Trying to find lots of things not to do.
We're busy going nowhere, isn't it just a crime?
We'd like to be unhappy but we never do have the time.

Wow, been a week since I posted in here. Really keeping you on the edge of your seat, aren't I? Apologies for being less than interesting lately.

Can't say that I'm too busy writing anything momentous, though. Just some real-life stuff. Tonight won't be any better (a school function for one of my daughters). And the yearly tax paperwork still looms (yes, last minute and all that). And then a trip that will keep me off the computer for a week. And then some houseguests for a few days. It's looking like I won't get much new stuff done until the later part of April. If I find some free time, I may make some dumb changes to the website for April Fools, but that's low priority and may not happen. After that, as they say, hilarity ensues.
