Plain Banter
. . . lies about science fiction, and everything else.

When the writer becomes the center of his attention, he becomes a nudnik. And a nudnik who believes he's profound is even worse than just a plain nudnik. -- Isaac Bashevis Singer

Contracts, finally

Good news in the mail yesterday: the two "probable" sales I mentioned in June are now definite. I received contracts from Analog for a short story, "Letters Of Transit," and a novelette, "In The Loop." Of course, with Analog's long lead time, they probably won't be in print for at least another six months, so don't go looking for them right away.
