The resilience of teenagers

This follows on from my previous blog entry.

The mother of one of the other blue-belts has informed us that, on the way home, she had to take her 17y/o daughter to the local hospital after her daughter complained of dizziness. She had taken a blow to the face from the gloved hand of a sparring partner. They were there until about 3.30am, sitting in Casualty, before being seen by a doctor.

Anyway, it turns out that they saw the young man whose knee had been dislocated. At about 1.30am he walked out with the assistance of crutches. His knee had been popped back in.

My son and the girl mentioned above were at training again on Saturday morning.
