Queen Adelaide

Queen Adelaide was the wife of King William IV of England, at the time that the city of Adelaide, the capital city of the state of South Australia, was being established by free settlers (rather than convicts as in other settlements.)

This is a long way around saying that I've just spent four days in Adelaide.

The local brew is Cooper's ale, one of the few Australian beers that has live yeast in the bottle. Not only that, instead of the typical "best before" date, it has a "Best After..." date! Quite yummy, it comes out 'cloudy' (as opposed to clear). The Stout is chewy as well as yummy!

But, I couldn't wait to get back, to compare it to my pico-brewery version. (Note: pico is much smaller than micro.)
