Can I do it?

National Novel Writing Month http://www.nanowrimo.org is an opportunity for people like me to succeed at getting something written. No-one else might ever read it, but I will know whether I wrote the 50,000 word 'book' or not in the one calendar month.

I already get the feeling that November might be a month when blogging gets a back seat.

Think about it: I'll have to write around 1,700 words most days.

If you are savvy you can go to that site and look up my statistics; if you clever, you'll NOT log in yourself; if you are adventurous, you'll do some basic reaearch at the site then get a login, and join me in the quest.

And, I've looked and seen there are over 200 people in my local area who are signed up.
