A "G-Rated Journal" That Even My Mother Can Read (because she does!)

Effervescence is a state of mind. It's about choosing to bring sunshine to the day.
Every person I meet matters.

If it's written down, I know it (If it's not written down, I don't know it)
If it's color-coded, I understand it (If it's not color-coded, I don't understand it)

Quick Status Report

My college best-friend Kristin and I often call to leave each other a voicemail if we haven't heard from one another for months. Usually the message is something like, "Just calling to say 'Not dead yet.'"

So, hello everyone. Not dead yet.

The quick summary:

  • The gig with band went INCREDIBLY well, including having ten friends in the audience, one of our best shows ever, and the other band was so impressed they want to do it again

  • I caught the same cold/flu/fever/plague that's been going around, and stayed home sick for 3 days last week

  • I'm not all the way healthy yet, but surviving pretty okay

  • The silk banner painting workshop on Saturday was *fabulous* and I cannot wait to give these hand-painted gifts to my friends (SCA friends: come see us at Estrella!)

  • Oh, I'm going to Estrella in February, both for fun and to perform

  • We have another band gig in the works

  • Mom turned 61 (Happy Birthday Mom!)

...and a host of other good things, little details, and life. Photos forthcoming, but that catches you up.

Not Dead Yet.
