A "G-Rated Journal" That Even My Mother Can Read (because she does!)

Effervescence is a state of mind. It's about choosing to bring sunshine to the day.
Every person I meet matters.

If it's written down, I know it (If it's not written down, I don't know it)
If it's color-coded, I understand it (If it's not color-coded, I don't understand it)

Happy New Year's

Happy New Year's everyone!

Another "have to recap several weeks because I was sick recently" entry:

  • Christmas Eve at California Adventure/Disneyland with Kristin, Sanndy, and Lin was *awesome!*

  • Christmas at my sister's was wonderful fun

  • I got to be with friends to light Hannukah candles on day 1, 4, 6, and 8 (if I remember correctly)

  • Spending time with Lot and Cat was awesome, and I should remember more often that they only live 5 minutes down the road from me. Heck, we each have keys to one another's apartments. And I might learn to like wine if I keep having dinner with them.

  • Poker Night for New Year's Eve was also amazingly fun, even if I was out of the running really early on. Apparently I need to learn when to fold. I know how to bluff, but I don't know how to fold yet. *giggle*

  • Having a week off from work between Christmas and New Year's is wonderful

  • Visited with Tina several times during my week off, which I should also do more often

  • Spent two days at my Grandfather's, creating a custom-designed personal Master Address book, data entry, and mailing labels mail merge docs (and earning grandaughter gold star points)

  • Catching my second cold of the season is not wonderful

  • It is possible to lose count on how many cups of tea or bowls of soup you've had when you're sick

  • You can get a lot of mindless computer code done when you're drugged out from a cold and watching tapes from the Olympics two years ago

  • Coffee never tasted better than after a week of drinking tea

Hope you and your families are all well!
