A "G-Rated Journal" That Even My Mother Can Read (because she does!)

Effervescence is a state of mind. It's about choosing to bring sunshine to the day.
Every person I meet matters.

If it's written down, I know it (If it's not written down, I don't know it)
If it's color-coded, I understand it (If it's not color-coded, I don't understand it)

Steampunk Birthday Goodness

Steampunk Birthday Goodness - So, I mentioned that my Halloween outfit was my first attempt at "steampunk." I know that I have a long way to go, collecting and creating better steampunk accessories, but wow did this party give me some great ideas! I have the most creative friends (and they have creative friends I hadn't met yet!). So, enjoy these:

Other Things - In the world of "keep cleaning up the clutter," I managed to uncover the small couch in my room, put away the clean laundry, empty out a small suitcase from GWW (I know, a suitcase sitting around from the 2nd week of October), cleared off and swapped the end tables in the living room (because we moved one out of the hallway, and the task needed to be done), hung the corkboard/whiteboard in the kitchen (part of rearranging the hallway), and picked up some more loose papers off the floor (to go through over lunch at work later). I can actually move through my room again, and that's encouraging. Of course, there's a pile of clutter at my desk at work to go through before I can bring in another pile, but I'm seeing a difference in my home.

Today's Blessing That I'm Thankful For: Lynn, because you mean so darn much in my life *hugs*
