Our thermometers are wonky. The one in the back yard says 75, the one in the front yard says 95, and the one inside the house says 85. It all feels the same temperature to me, so I went on weather.com to find out what the temp really is here.

They said, '93 degrees, but feels like 94'. Huh? It made us all laugh.

Got some good work done today. Checked up on my plane flight, and no they haven't changed it since the last time they changed it, so all looks good. Have made a tentative plan of how to get ready for Tuesday, including mundane activities such as laundry, trying on clothes, writing my pitches, etc. Am feeling stressed, but looking forward to it.

Talked to Jenn today so that was good. I miss her a lot. Those Wednesday mornings were my touchstone, and not having them makes me feel a bit adrift. But all will settle down sooner or later and we'll come up with a new schedule.

BBQ Ribs and corn for dinner tonight, with a heaping helping of tomato salad. Plus champagne of course, and if we can possibly bear it, a fire after the sun sets at 8:04pm tonight.

Happiness surges through my body at the very thought of the night ahead. I am a lucky woman.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
