With a three night run, by the third night things are starting to jell, become smooth, feel right. But to realize it's your last night takes some of the fun out of it.

The show overall went well. The kidlings came with our neighbors, and all the boys loved it. (Not too sure about the parents - they're not the Shakespeare type.)

There were no costume mishaps for me, I didn't trip, and my knee didn't ache like the dickens afterwards, so that's progress. Most everything went smoothly for everyone else, too - few verbal fumbles, and only one necklace broke (scattering pearl-like beads across the stage). All in all, an excellent experience - and I got paid to do it, too! Amazing. I had no idea I'd be handed a check.

The cast party is Friday. A good thing - there are a few people in this cast that I'd like to hang on to as friends. It's nice to make new friends - that hasn't happened in a long time.

I guess I need to get out more.
