I have had no time since last I wrote. None. Working a lot, spending time with the family, figuring out fish chowder recipes...way too much to do. Not to mention my guitar is gathering dust. (Not really...it's in a case.)

And the time change - hello! Why does a simple hour change wreak havoc on my inner time clock much more than a trip to England? Frankly, I'd rather take the jetlag for a couple days than this hellish week of adjustment and missed alarm clocks...

I'm working two four-hour shifts tomorrow, possibly one on Thursday night, and I have Friday off...so writing opportunities are coming my way again. Which is good.

I had a couple of brainwaves on the way home from dinner with Jenn, and wrote them down. Don't think they'll work with this novel though - I must see this through to the end the way I've started it I think. Later perhaps I can tweak it to be what it currently isn't - or maybe that's a different book entirely. We'll see.

Tomorrow I don't go into work until noon. Here's hoping I can get those five pages in before I need to leave.
