Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

So much...

Pages Written since last check-in... 16? 18? Something like that.
Listening to... Buffy - The Album
Exercise Done... Walked 2 miles w/backpack yesterday
Currently Reading... something about gardening and writers...

So much has been going on. Mostly, last week I worked 45 hours. Whew! Too much...this week I'm only working 2 days, so that's a pleasure - especially since the kids are off. And I want a full time job there? (My boss is DYING to make me full time, so at least that's cool. And I just earned 5 shares of stock, so that's cool, too!)

Monday I did a ton of baking/cooking - focaccia, German Butter Cake, and a spaghetti-parmesean souffle that didn't actually souff. But it still tasted good. Today I'll stick with cookies, and try to get some pages done in between times (outside of the one I did this morning).

Monday night, hubby dragged us all off to REI, where he had me try on a backpack. OMG how different they are now! Considering our last backpacks were bought in 1982 or '83...SO much more comfortable, and they now make them for women! Life is good.

However, this means that I'll be backpacking in the near future. Ah well...24 hours away from life will be nice. Hubby and younger son go out this Friday/Saturday. My turn will come soon... *shudder*.

UPCOMING: The Revlon Run/Walk for Women here in L.A. is a 5K race on May 13th. Hubby and I are both signed up - we got our race bibs in the mail yesterday. Our first race together! Should be interesting...

AND FINALLY: I reached page 100 in my current MS! I'm SO pleased. I have given up trying to plot out this book, as it's taking some interesting twists and turns. Whatever I had started out with, that brief paragraph written so long ago, is the only thing that still stands. Everything else has changed, and that includes the 8 page synopsis I did. Oh well...I just read that Anne Stuart is still learning how she writes, and she's had a bajillion books published so at least I'm in good company.

Now I'm off to do laundry and bake cookies and supervise the boys as they clean. A mother's job is never done...thank goodness!
