Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Well, we landed early yesterday morning and made it home by 9am, but with unpacking, and laundry, and groceries to buy, there was little time to do much of anything else.

We woke to a rainy morning - such a joy, since neither the kids nor I had to get up and moving for school/work today. Started a fire in the fireplace, made hubby breakfast after we did some yoga.

The cruise - what a wake-up call. There were some people whose calves must have been bigger than my waist currently (which is NOT at it's slimmest of 25") - people you saw on the ship that just made you want to hit the gym and diet, instantly. I'm surprised more cardiac surgeons aren't on those cruises - patients for the picking.

I had a lovely facial on our first night - they conned me into buying some stuff (hey - I've got lines around my mouth! Gee - I thought they were smile lines...) but their compatriots, the gym folks, couldn't fool me into $400 worth of detox pills for three months. Enough roughage, exercise and water plus a decent diet will do what they claimed their pills would do...

We snorkled in Cabo (Wow! Woo! Get me to Hawaii!), and walked everywhere else. Acapulco was a disappointment - too much of a big city - but a beautiful port to sit in at night, when we were dunking ourselves in the aft jacuzzi. Our favorite port of call is Zihuatanejo. Old world, old school. More of what we remember Cabo being (but, being on a tour, didn't get to see).

The best part? Having our sons aboard.

The second best part? Hubby wanting to cruise every year if possible for our anniversary. Hawaii, here we come!!!
