a second one done

Well, I didn't write last night, but it was my choice. I did finish the shawl that has been languishing in a container just waiting. I had run out of the right colored yarn and wal-mart wasn't carrying it either (hate when that happens!). Anyway, I use a white of the same type, mixed with the baby yarn in matching purple (it matched the mix in the original yarn pefectly),used it for the trim and then made the rectangular shawl into a shrug. Perfect. Now it can go to the woman it is meant for. Two projects done in two nights. Now I can bring my dd afghan out and work on that-it is going to take a lot longer!!

The project was finished during "Bones". Anyone else notice that they are making Bones social skill regress? I don't really care for the way they wrote the FBI director in, they made him a real "doofus" and that is a direct quote from the show; They made Bones really miss on the inuendo with the director during a date. She is not quite that literal any more. The writers need to watch the series over! The character has grown. But not a bad show, just not as good. They are trying to go a different way with the chemistry-don't know if it will work.

Didn't get any writing done last night, but it was my choice. Got the crocheting done instead. Still good choice. I needed to get that project out of the way and done!! I expect to write either tonight or tomorrow. (I hope, we do need to get the apartment reset. Having our bed in our living room is a pain!) Well, got to go to work!
