I'm Baack

Hi there, I am back. Didn't plan on getting sick, but as I have said before, my body is in rebellion! Thought it was Diverdiculitis, thankfully, it is not. But it was still quite painful and I don't do pain well. Saw doctor, will be seeing another doctor and working it through. Now at work. Didn't crochet, didn't read, just slouched-lounged on couch and watched tv and dozed. Finally in work today. Now to see what the damage is to paycheck, yipes!!

Finally got cat. Didn't get kitten I thought we were going to get. We got cat that was named "Dora" she is now "Sweetie". She is 6yrs 9m and is tortoise shell-that mottled brown, black, tan color. They said she was 'domestic short hair' but her fur seems long to me. She loves to be brushed. Me being home sick allowed for bonding. She really doesn't love being held, but loves laying next to you and being patted.

Serious discussions were held, a meeting of minds ensued and things are fine. Hubby is trying hard and I see areas where I can improve. Advice to newlyweds-don't have kids right away!!! I was pregnant on our first anniversary and had my DS 4 months later. Had DD when DS was just under 2. I knew Hubby about 4 months before we got married. So we became parents before we really had solidified ourselves as a 'couple'. Thanks Teri, for pointing that out. We are getting better.

On afghan front-worked on it this weekend and yesterday. It is coming along. Slowly, my creative juices are flowing and if DD doesn't like it, I will put it on our bed!
