Back to the grind

I didn't write in my story this weekend, but it was my choice-or I should say, my heads choice. After we saw the show Saturday, we went to Legal Seafood for dinner. We had made a reservation. I am glad we did. We were seated right away-when we made the reservation, we noted my husband's wheelchair and that we wanted to make sure we were in a place that would not cause a problem. they were ready for us. The fried clam appetizer was great. Based on that, my husband ordered the Fisherman's platter; I ordered the chef's special-lamb and lobster (to die for). His plate wasn't as good as the appetizer said it could be. The fried clams were soggy, and the fried shrimp chewy. He wasn't going to say anything because we figured it was because his dish was waiting on mine.

But... while we were waiting for our waiter to come back, who should walk out but one of the form contestant's from "Hell's Kitchen"-for the life of me I cannot remember her name-but she was the chef who yelled back at Ramsey and told him not to yell at her that way. Had long braids, came from South East, cooked fish realy well. We caught her to tell her we enjoyed her on the show, and she asked about the meal, we were honest. She comped dessert-maple pumpkin pie (YUM) and made sure the waiter got our information for a gift card from headquarters. We said we could tell that it was from waiting, but it was unusual for that class of restaurant. But she was upset. Fish is her specialty and it shouldn't have happened. She was ready to recook his whole meal. Uh, no-he was full!!

I could only eat half of my lamb dish. I ate the lobster portion. My husband was surprised about the small portion of lobster. I told him, it was the meat from a 1lb. lobster. But it was great.

Well, time to get to work. I have lots of supply boxes to unpack. and the rest of my FMLA paperwork to fill out. Manager sent me email with two attachment for me to fill out. Of course he couldn't sent to me all at one time!!!!
