Tuesday and HOTTER!

From Georgia to Conneticutt: High 90's with heat index triple digits. At 5:45 am, the air is already so heavy that it is hard to breathe. Humidity is there, code orange air-high grass pollens on top of it all. Glad I am at work-but the building is still warm!

I have figured out why I am having trouble reading Gibran. He is writing on one topic. It is depressing. I don't know if it is because of the way the book is set up, or if this is the order of the writings he did, but the constant crying out of the condition of the soul vs the appetite of man is his topic. Did he not write of the joys of man? Or did these compilers of his works not think that intermingling his joyful works with some of his more melancholic works? So a small break, instead of one a day, it is more like one a week. More than that, and it is a major chore-since I need to read the items, poems especially, two to three times to get the full meanings. Friday will be the report time.

My nails-both sets are pretty today. The toes are pink, a pretty coral shade. The fingers sport a gold color. Both sets were going to be the coral color but the toes were done first and I saw how thick the polish was. I knew that it would be a very good liklihood that I would not get home without at least one deep gouge in the finger nail polish. so, I had seen another woman get this finger nail color and I like it. It is different. Very light on my hands, but sparklyish. Almost copper, but not quite. Dh just shook his head. But it was very nice to get the clay treatment on my calves and the massage. Ahhh-a little of that type of pampering goes a long way. The salon was busier than I have ever seen it. She could've used two more girls to paint hands, but the shop isn't big enough!
